Your details
Privacy for owner enquiries.
The few details you give us when you ask for a private conversation, and how we handle them.
Who is responsible
Kingsway M&A is operated by Torus Management Consultancy LLC, which is responsible for your details. To ask about this notice or your details, email hello@kingswayma.co.uk.
What this notice covers
This website has no enquiry form of its own. If you use the enquiry or partnership form on the Kingsway Brokerage website, your enquiry goes to the central Kingsway team and is handled under that website’s privacy notice. Our links to that form tell Kingsway Brokerage only which Kingsway website you came from, as a short code; they carry nothing about you.
What we collect
Our website host keeps basic security data, such as IP addresses and request logs, for its standard security-retention period. Nothing else about your visit is recorded.
Financial information, client or worker details, valuations and documents are not needed for your first enquiry, so please do not send them. Confidential details can wait for a conversation.
What we note after a conversation
A short note of what you want to happen, the business in broad terms, your timing, who else is involved and the agreed next step. No figures or documents.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange the conversation you asked for and follow up as agreed with you. We rely on our legitimate interests in dealing with business enquiries, managing the relationship and keeping our systems secure; on steps you ask us to take, where that applies; and on legal obligations for records we must keep. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing.
Where it is kept and who sees it
Enquiries made through that form, and any email enquiry we record, are kept in Zoho CRM, the customer records system Torus Management Consultancy LLC uses for the Kingsway brands, in Zoho’s data centre in the United Arab Emirates. We reply from our Zoho Mail mailbox. Kingsway’s businesses share this records system. If we already hold a record for you, for example because you already work with another Kingsway business, your enquiry is added to that record rather than starting a new one. Our website host, Cloudflare, runs this website.
Our systems may be operated or accessed in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States and the United Arab Emirates; Zoho holds our records in its UAE data centre. Where UK transfer rules apply, we use the relevant adequacy arrangement or contractual safeguards and complete any required transfer assessment. You can ask us which safeguard applies to a particular transfer.
These providers run our systems for us. Apart from them, we do not share your details without your agreement, unless the law requires it, and we do not sell them. Nothing about you or your business is shared with any buyer or investor without your specific written approval naming the recipient.
If you book a time
If you book a time, Zoho Bookings collects the details its booking page asks for, such as your name, email address and the time you choose, to hold the time and send your confirmation. The appointment goes into our Google Calendar with a Google Meet link, and may be recorded in Zoho CRM with your enquiry. Everything on this page applies to a booking too.
No marketing, no tracking
We do not use your enquiry for marketing. This website runs no analytics and stores nothing in your browser. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to tell genuine visitors from automated traffic.
How long we keep it
An enquiry is normally kept for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact with you. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep a minimal record for as long as we need to respect that. Security logs follow our website host’s standard security-retention period.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct, delete, restrict or transfer them, or object to how we use them. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Email hello@kingswayma.co.uk. We reply without undue delay and normally within one month.
If you have a complaint about how we handle your details, please tell us first: we acknowledge complaints within 30 days and explain the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
